“The decision is made” – Fabrizio Romano confirms three Premier League clubs have called Man Utd about Alejandro Garnacho

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that three Premier League clubs have called Manchester United to inquire about Alejandro Garnacho this summer.

Manchester United are shifting their focus to outgoings as Rúben Amorim prepares to reshape his squad ahead of the new season.

The Reds have already completed a £62.5 million deal for Matheus Cunha from Wolves and are continuing talks with Brentford over Bryan Mbeumo, despite seeing a £45 million plus £10 million in add-ons bid rejected.

United remain in the market for a striker and a midfielder, and a move for a new goalkeeper hasn’t been ruled out if André Onana leaves.

While several players are set to depart when their contracts expire this month, more exits are expected as the squad undergoes a major revamp.

Romano confirms Garnacho will leave this summer

Amid those who are certain to leave United this summer, such as Antony, Jadon Sancho, and Marcus Rashford, there have also been rumours linking both Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Højlund away from the club.

In Garnacho’s case, Amorim has already informed him that he is free to find a new club in the coming months after the pair clashed on several occasions in the last few months.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has now confirmed that Garnacho’s time at Old Trafford is over and that he will leave the club this summer.

“I wanted to confirm something I said already one month ago: Alejandro Garnacho will leave Manchester United,” Romano stated on his YouTube channel. “The decision is made not only on Rúben Amorim’s side, but also on management’s side.

“So it’s time to part ways between Man United and Alejandro Garnacho. It’s over. They are already looking for solutions.”

Three Premier League sides interested in Garnacho

Romano continued, explaining that the 20-year-old winger who has racked up 26 goals and 22 assists in 144 appearances for United is of interest to Bayer Leverkusen as well as three Premier League clubs.

“There was some call from Bayer Leverkusen, who appreciates Alejandro Garnaccio, but at the moment, financially, looks like a difficult deal to do,” Romoan continued. “Very difficult deal to do for Leverkusen.

“[There is also] some interest from Italy, but especially from the Premier League. Premier League clubs are calling and pushing for Alejandro Garnacho. There is a strong possibility to see Alejandro Garnacho playing in Premier League with a different shirt than Man United’s.

He continued: “From what I heard, three Premier League clubs have called for Alejandro Garnacho, trying to understand the situation, and the answer on the player and the club side is the same: [they are] ready to part ways this summer. So keep an eye on the situation of Alejandro Garnacho.”

While Romano did not go as far as naming the clubs in question, one of them will undoubtedly be Chelsea, who have been tracking the winger since January.

Aston Villa have also been linked with the player of late, while other sides such as Arsenal and Tottenham are known to need attacking reinforcements in the coming months.
