Ten Hag “proposes” Jadon Sancho swap deal to fix Man United’s attacking problem
Manchester United are targeting a swap deal involving Jadon Sancho and Barcelona’s Brazilian winger Raphinha, according to reports.
Jadon Sancho has not been involved in anything related to Manchester United‘s first team since September, after his public statement against Erik ten Hag saw him banned from all squad activities.
With Ten Hag refusing to reintegrate Sancho until the winger apologises for his actions, Sancho looks set to leave the club in January despite his reported “secret desire” to rebuild his career at Old Trafford.

There have been multiple links between Jadon Sancho and both Borussia Dortmund as well as Italian club Juventus, but with deals involving either club unlikely, a new destination has cropped up.
According to Spanish outlet Sport, Manchester United are interested in a swap deal that would see Sancho head to Barcelona, with Brazilian winger Raphinha heading the other way.
This idea has been “proposed” by Ten Hag himself, as he knows that no club will pay the fee United are demanding for the Englishman, and with Raphina costing Barcelona roughly the same amount, it is a deal that could work for all parties involved.
The report explains that It will be important to understand Deco’s opinion on the potential deal due to his status as sporting director and former position as Raphinha’s agent.
Raphina has had an inconsistent spell at Barcelona after moving from Leeds United two summers ago, and being a right-winger with Premier League experience, he could be an ideal candidate to reignite Ten Hag’s front line.
