Mason Mount joined Manchester United from Chelsea in July 2023 for an initial fee of £55 million, potentially rising to £60 million with add-ons. He signed a five-year contract and was assigned the iconic No. 7 shirt, previously worn by club legends like George Best and Cristiano Ronaldo. 
Mount made his debut on 14 August 2023 against Wolverhampton Wanderers. However, his time at United has been hampered by injuries, limiting him to 26 Premier League appearances and a total of 39 across all competitions, with just one goal and one assist.
