Sir Jim Ratcliffe makes Mason Mount decision amid Man United transfer overhaul
Sir Jim Ratcliffe has decided not to sell Mason Mount as part of Manchester United’s summer transfer window overhaul expected at the end of this season.
Mount, 25, joined United at the start of the campaign from Chelsea but has had a torrid time at Old Trafford so far due to multiple injury setbacks.

With Ratcliffe and the INEOS team taking over the sporting direction of the club, many players could be on their way out in the summer window as part of the major reshuffle that has already been taking place at higher levels of the club.
However, The Reds have no plans to offload Mount just one year after his high-profile move from Chelsea, according to GIVEMESPORT.
It was revealed that key figures within the club believe Mount can revamp his career at Old Trafford and there is a realisation that selling him this summer would result in a substantial financial loss.
The report also stated that board members expressed an understanding of the challenges he has faced in his debut season.
Confidence persists that Mount will demonstrate his value to supporters despite the setbacks throughout his debut campaign. Looking ahead, there’s optimism that he could assume a more significant role in the team during the upcoming season.
The midfield, identified for a complete transformation in the 2024/25 campaign, offers Mount the opportunity to play a pivotal role.
Mount has played just 12 games in all competitions so far this season.
