Sir Jim Ratcliffe “has seen” something that will get Erik ten Hag sacked at Man United
One former Premier League player has suggested that Sir Jim Ratcliffe has now seen something that will get Erik ten Hag sacked from Manchester United.
Manchester United fell to a dismal 3-1 defeat against Manchester City on Sunday afternoon, with pressure increasing on Erik ten Hag.
Despite a stunning opening effort from Marcus Rashford, two second-half goals from Phil Foden, and a final goal from Erling Haaland, Pep Guardiola‘s side ran riot at the Etihad.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who has recently been handed the title of co-owner of United and control of all sporting activities at Old Trafford, has a big decision to make surrounding Ten Hag’s future of the club.
Jason McAteer, former Liverpool player, has now explained that Jim Ratcliffe may decide to sack Erik ten Hag following poor performances and results against big sides.
“That’s why you don’t last at the end of the season. I honestly don’t think he’ll be there at the end of the season for next season,” McAteer told BeIN Sports following the end of the game.
“Jim Ratcliffe will see that, and it’s just not good enough for a Manchester United team. He did it at Liverpool; now he’s done it at Man City. He gets away with it against the lesser teams but against the better sides he just gets found out.”
United will next face Everton in the Premier League at Old Trafford, with the club now 11 points off the top four.
