Several Manchester United players are involved in the revolving doors that is the Transfer Deadline Day, however, seven Reds’ futures have been clarified by latest reports.

There has already been business in the morning of the final day of the window for United, with Altay Bayindir joining the club and academy full-back Marc Juardo exiting.

Whilst United are looking to get deals for Sergio Reguilon, who has reportedly already signed his contract, and Sofyan Amrabat, it is expected that more players leave the club, both on loan and permanent deals.

There has been clarifications for two other academy players. It has been decided that Joe Hugill will stay at Old Trafford for the upcoming season, rather than go on loan, according to Laurie Whitwell.

It was added that the striker is expected to sign new terms on a contract until 2026, with the option of a further year.

Meanwhile, Steven Railston of the Manchester Evening News has reported that Shola Shoretire could leave on loan before the transfer deadline.

He has received interest from Championship clubs and abroad and could leave on a temporary deal on Deadline Day if the right offer is made.

Alongside them are five first-team players with uncertain futures. It has been well-reported across English media that there is interest from several clubs in the trio of Eric Bailly, Mason Greenwood and Donny van de Beek, although no agreements are in place as it stands.

Meanwhile, however, Rob Dawson has reported that both Scott McTominay and Harry Maguire are expected to remain at Old Trafford following the closure of the window.

That is despite there being reported interest in the Scotsman from Fulham in recent days. Maguire’s future dictated whether United would go into the market for a centre-back and so it’s highly unlikely we see an addition other than Reguilon in the backline.
