Ruud van Nistelrooy has THREE job offers as ex-Manchester United boss eyes Premier League return
Ruud van Nistelrooy is juggling three reported job offers as he hunts for his first role after departing Manchester United earlier this month.
Ruud van Nistelrooy’s time at Manchester United came to an end two weeks ago, just five months after his appointment, as Rúben Amorim was unveiled as the club’s new head coach.
The Dutchman joined United in July during a complete revamp of Erik ten Hag’s coaching staff but faced an uncertain future after Ten Hag’s sacking last month.

In his brief spell, Van Nistelrooy took charge of four matches, earning two wins against Leicester City, a victory over PAOK, and a Premier League draw with Chelsea.
On Monday, following Amorim’s arrival, the club confirmed Van Nistelrooy’s departure, along with three other members of the backroom staff.
Three job offers
Since leaving United, Van Nistelrooy has been subject to interest from across England and Europe, with the Dutchman having shown his managerial skills both at United and during his brief stint with PSV Eindhoven.
According to The Sun, Van Nistelrooy is now one of two candidates for the vacant Leicester City job after the Premier League side sacked former boss Steve Cooper just a few months after he secured them promotion back into the competition.
This comes after Sky Germany confirmed that Bundesliga side Hamburger SV is also keen on securing his signature, with the former striker having played for the side between 2010-11.
There is also a wait to see who Coventry City will pick as their new manager in the coming days. Van Nistelrooy reportedly applied for the job last week, although they are thought to be in discussions with Frank Lampard.
Ruud’s final words
Following confirmation of his departure two weeks ago, Ruud van Nistelrooy left a heartfelt message to the players, the fans, and the club.
“To everyone at Manchester United Football Club, in particular the backroom staff, the players and the fans,” he wrote on social media. “I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your incredible efforts and support.
“It has been a privilege and honour to represent the club as a player, coach and manager, and I will always cherish the memories we have shared together. “
“Man Utd will always have a special place in my heart, and I hope there are many more glory days at Old Trafford very soon – not only because I want the club to do well, but because you all deserve it!
“All the best and take care, Ruud.”
