Rúben Amorim sets Manchester United transfer demand as he highlights “top” future star
Rúben Amorim has set his bosses a trnasfer demand has he highlights a “top” player within his Manchester United squad in the future.
After a commanding 4-0 victory over Everton at the weekend, Rúben Amorim faces his next big challenge as Manchester United‘s new head coach: a clash with Arsenal.
Amorim has made an impressive start at Old Trafford, leading United to two wins and a draw in his first three matches. His arrival has sparked renewed belief within the squad, helping to turn the tide after a disastrous start to the season under Erik ten Hag.

The upcoming fixture sees United travel to the Emirates Stadium to take on Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal. Both teams come into the game buoyed by emphatic wins, with Arsenal dispatching West Ham 5-2 in their last outing.
United currently sit 9th in the Premier League, but the race for the Champions League remains within reach. They trail Brighton, who occupy 4th place, by just four points.
Amorim’s transfer demand
Speaking to the press on Monday evening, Rúben Amorim issued a transfer demand to United’s leadership team that he feels they must emulate in the coming windows.
After spending over £200 million in the summer, many agree that Noussair Mazraoui has been the most successful of the five new players, despite him costing by far the least money at just £12.8 million from Bayern Munich.
Amorim has highltihted his transfer as one that the club must emulate more often, explaining that he and other trnasfers like him are the “future” of the club.
“He is a top player because he understands the game, he is very good defensively, very good one on one,” Amorim explained.
“I think he is the future of our team, we need more players like Nous who can control the tempo, he is really good with the ball.”
Mazraoui has proven himself to be a valuable asset in recent months as United continue to build themselves under Amorim.
The Morrocan international has played as a right-back, left-back, centre-back, and even as an attacking midfielder since he signed for the club in August.
