Roy Keane has suggested that a move to Manchester United could be an option for Aston Villa’s star striker Ollie Watkins.
Manchester United are looking to sign a new striker this summer, with Anthony Martial set to depart the club for free and INEOS looking to add more goal threat to United’s attacking arsenal.
Despite Rasmus Højlund‘s 13 goals this season, the Danish striker is probably not experienced enough to rely on for an entire season, and he could learn from a second, more experienced player.

Ollie Watkins has played 137 times in the Premier League, scoring a total of 56 goals and providing a further 23 assists – and Roy Keane believes he could play for one of the “top teams” in football.
“He could play for one of the top teams, couldn’t he?” Keane told Sky Sports, via the Metro. “Villa are a top team but you’re talking about bigger clubs in Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City.
“That’s a compliment to him, not that he has to leave Villa. But he’s capable of doing it.
“The kid is so sharp, he has a great shape to him, His movement is as good as any striker in the Premier League. He’s having an amazing season.”
Watkins’ reliability has been a key asset, as he has played in almost every single Premier League fixture since he joined Aston Villa. With United suffering from an injury crisis, he could be a perfect experienced player at Old Trafford.
