Real Madrid send clear transfer message to Manchester United amid “keen interest” in 20yo starlet

Real Madrid have sent a clear transfer message to Manchester United as they have “keen interest” in one player ahead of the summer window.

Manchester United are planning for major changes in the summer transfer window in terms of incomings and outgoings.

Ruben Amorim’s squad needs additions ahead of an important season next term and Jason Wilcox is already working behind the scenes on various targets.

It has been reported that the club have four main areas of the squad they want to improve and INEOS’ transfer strategy involves bringing in talented young players.

Madrid send clear transfer message to United

According to TBR Football, United have been closely monitoring Como midfielder Nico Paz’s progress this season and have been impressed with his performances.

Paz departed Real Madrid last summer to join the Italian side but it has been reported that the La Liga giants have a series of buyback options in his contract.

Amid the ‘keen interest’ from United, the aforementioned report states that Madrid have made it clear they have no intention of allowing the 20-year-old to join another club this summer.

The Spanish team are planning to bring Paz back to the Santiago Bernabeu in the future and Paz’s representatives have communicated this decision to United.

Additionally, it was also claimed that the player himself is eager to return to Madrid. He has six goals and as many assists in the Serie A so far this term.

Madrid no longer interested in United star

There have also been transfer rumours this season involving both United and Madrid in relation to the future of Diogo Dalot.

Earlier this season, it was claimed that Madrid are fans of the Portuguese defender and would be willing to tempt United with a £45 million offer if their pursuit of Trent Alexander-Arnold was unsuccessful.

However, recent reports have suggested that the Liverpool defender is now almost certainly going to be moving to the Spanish giants at the end of the season.

This means that Dalot is likely to remain at Old Trafford, while United also consider other options to bolster their midfield with Paz set for an eventual return to Madrid.
