Rasmus Højlund details Atalanta partnership he can replicate with Marcus Rashford at Manchester United
Rasmus Højlund proved himself to be one of the most dangerous striker talents last season with his brilliant performances for Atalanta.
Manchester United are expected to seal the £60 million plus £12m in add-ons signing of Rasmus Højlund in the coming days as Erik ten Hag recruits a new striker into the fold.
It is a move that sees the club finally have a central attacker that will allow wingers such as Antony and Marcus Rashford to do what they do best – and Højlund has explained the partnership at Atalanta that he and Rashford may look to recreate.

Ademola Lookman will be a name familiar to many Premier League fans, with the English left winger formerly playing for Everton and is now one of the brightest wingers in Italy.
Speaking about Lookman, Højlund has explained that it is their complementarity that makes them such a good partnership.
“Me and Ademola Lookman compensate each other good – he is good at dribbling and I am more the ‘hold up nine’ you can say,” he told Serie A.
“I think that is a reason why we play good (together) – we have a good understanding of each other.”
With Højlund set to switch from Lookman to Rashford on the left wing, there is nothing to say that the two new wingers won’t be able to emulate this partnership and take it to a new level.
With Rashford’s dribbling ability no doubt helpful to Højlund, the two of them may be able to click almost immediately on the front line, which will help the Danish striker settle into the club.
