Price revealed and Manchester United left “favourites” after Chelsea end interest
Manchester United are said to be favourites to sign Inter Milan goalkeeper André Onana after Chelsea drop out of the race.
Manchester United are currently scouting options to replace David de Gea this window, with the Spanish goalkeeper yet to sign a new contract.
Despite playing almost every game under Erik ten Hag, De Gea seems reluctant to sign a new deal for reduced wages, despite one being on the table – his contract will expire at the end of the month.

With this in mind, United are said to be looking at other options, with Everton’s Jordan Pickford, Porto’s Diogo Costa, and Inter’s André Onana on their shortlist.
Initially, it was reported that United had competition for Onana’s signature, with Chelsea interested in the goalkeeper; but that is no longer the case.
According to Nizaar Kinsella from Standard Sport, Chelsea have ended their interest in Onana, leaving Manchester United as favourites to sign the Cameroonian shot-stopper.
It is further described that Onana, who featured in the 2022 Champions League final against Manchester City, would set United back around £50 million.
United are set to sell Dean Henderson this summer, with an agreement in place with Nottingham Forest, although a fee is yet to be finalised.
