One Premier League icon has predicted two Manchester United youngsters to become “established stars”, and fans will agree with him.

Manchester United have had a mixed start to the new season under Erik ten Hag but many of the positives have come from the youth.

That also occurred last term, with the likes of Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo standing out in an underwhelming campaign.

In the long-term, the new INEOS regime are looking to maximise their young talents, which was shown through the signings of Chido Obi-Martin and Sekou Kone in the summer.

Florent Malouda makes big prediction for young United duo

Florent Malouda, Chelsea and Premier League icon, has spoken on two of United’s most exciting young stars.

The ex-winger believes that Amad Diallo and Kobbie Mainoo will become established players in England’s top flight in the coming years.

“I really like the two youngsters at Manchester United Kobbie Mainoo and Amad Diallo,” Malouda told Coin Poke.

“From what I saw of both of those players last season, I think both players have the potential to become established stars in the Premier League this season.

“Mainoo finished the season brilliantly and put himself in the England national team. If he can continue to develop, he looks like he could become an integral part of the Manchester United midfield for years to come.

“Amad also has the potential to become a key player for Manchester United. He needs to take the chances that he’s given, and he’s looked good when he has played this season.”

Fans excited by United’s youngsters

Many United fans will agree with Malouda’s comments, with Amad and Mainoo being two of the most exciting young players at Old Trafford.

Mainoo has already become one of the club’s most important players while Amad will be looking to build on his strong start to the season.

However, they are not the only young talents who fans are eager to see impress. Alejandro Garnacho is also thriving in the first-team while many impressive stars are currently in the Academy and on the fringes of Ten Hag’s squad.
