Premier League 2023/24 opening day fixtures seemingly leaked in photo

According to a leaked photo, Manchester United are set to play Brighton& Hove Albion on the opening day of the 2023/24 Premier League season.

Manchester United started their 2022/23 Premier League campaign – and their opening competitive fixture under Erik ten Hag – at home against Brighton.

Ten Hag and his squad lost the opening day fixture 2-1, although ultimately finished third in the league campaign, qualifying once again for the Champions League.

A leaked photo claims that Brighton are once again visiting Old Trafford on the opening day of the season – with the chances of this happening just a 0.0693% chance.

The leaked image also claims that Premier League champions will visit newly-promoted Burnley on the opening day of the season.

Arsenal are said to face Fulham away from home, with Luton hosting Liverpool and Tottenham playing Newcastle. The photo also claims that Chelsea will be playing away against Crystal Palace.

Should this leak turn out to be correct, United will no doubt be hoping for a more favourable outcome against Brighton the second time around.

The opening fixture of the Premier League season is due to kick off on Saturday 12 August 2023.
