Manchester United will be looking to end their final away fixture of the 2022/23 Premier League season with a victory as they travel to face Bournemouth.

Manchester United recently got back to winning ways, defeating Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0 at Old Trafford to put an end to a streak of dropped points.

It was the first clean sheet that David de Gea could claim in four games and clinched him the Premier League golden glove during his first season under Erik ten Hag.

It is expected that the Spaniard will start in goal once again on Saturday afternoon.

In front of him will almost certainly see the return of Raphael Varane, who started against Wolves after recovering from an ankle problem that had him out for a little over a month, and Victor Lindelof, who has been in inspired form since the absence of Lisandro Martinez.

On either side of the defence will likely see the return of English duo Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw at right-back and left-back, respectively.

Midfield is a topic that has been up for much debate recently due to a mix of suspension and injury, however, it is likely that Ten Hag will pick his preferred midfield trio since all three players are fresh and available.

With Casemiro at the base, the Brazilian will be joined by both Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes as creative forces to supply the front three.

Last week saw a shuffle in the front line as Marcus Rashford was ruled out with a leg problem, and although he was spotted in training this week, Ten Hag revealed that he has been feeling ill and may not play.

With Rashford potentially out of the fixture, it is reasonable to assume that last week’s goalscorer Alejandro Garnacho return to the starting XI on the left wing, with Antony filling the gap on the right wing.

Garnacho coming in for Jadon Sancho would be the only change from the XI who defeated Wolves, with Anthony Martial logically continuing his place up front after scoring against them last weekend.

Full predicted XI

De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Lindelof, Shaw; Casemiro, Eriksen, Fernandes; Antony, Martial, Rashford.
