Manchester United won 3-0 against West Ham in their Premier League clash at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

Rasmus Hojlund bagged his 10th of the season on his birthday with a wonderful finish before Alejandro Garnacho scored a brace.

West Ham presented a threat from set-pieces, but United dominated proceedings to put Erik ten Hag’s side back into sixth in the Premier League.

The player ratings so far can be read below.

André Onana – 7/10

Excellent save from an early corner, solid overall.

Diogo Dalot – 8/10

Super important in United’s dominance. Always making himself available and moving centrally. Some smart tactical fouls too,

Harry Maguire – 8.5/10

A really solid display on his return. Snapped into challenges to ensure United sustained pressure.

Lisandro Martínez – 8/10

Amazing performance but looked badly injured. United fans begging it wasn’t as bad as it looked.

Luke Shaw – 7.5/10

Very solid display.

Casemiro – 7/10

More sensible in possession, despite a couple of passes being poorly timed. A couple of times, he mistimed challenges and offered West Ham space, but then the one time it did work out, it led to the goal for Højlund.

Kobbie Mainoo – 7.5/10

Again and again. Not much to say other than class. Smart decision by Ten Hag to bring him off.

Bruno Fernandes – 6/10

Decent game.

Alejandro Garnacho – 8.5/10

First half lacked quality in the final moments and he certainly brought that in the second half. Two great goals to secure the win.

Rasmus Højlund – 8.5/10

Absolutely clinical finish on his weak foot. Solid overall play too. Good birthday.

Marcus Rashford – 6/10

Not too involved, but some decent touches and worked well defensively.

Subs

Scott McTominay – 8/10

Great impact and assist.

Raphaël Varane – 7/10

Solid

Victor Lindelöf – N/A

Antony – N/A
