Player Ratings: Manchester United vs Liverpool (Premier League)
Manchester United drew 2- 2 against Liverpool in their Premier League clash at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
The Reds started the game well but were dominated by Liverpool for much of the first half and saw themselves go into the break 1-0 down.
Erik ten Hag’s side picked it up in the second half and goals from Bruno Fernandes and Kobbie Mainoo saw them take a lead going into the final stages.
However, once again, a penalty was conceded and United drew.
Player ratings can be read below.
André Onana – 7/10
Great couple of saves.
Diogo Dalot – 8.5/10
A really solid game. Back to his best at RB.
Willy Kambwala – 8.5/10
Sensational performance considering the circumstances he came into. Dealt with Nunez like a seasoned pro.
Harry Maguire – 6.5/10
Was strong and solid throughout.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 3/10
Should’ve followed Nunez for the opener and then a pointless slide tackle in the box gifts Liverpool a point.
Casemiro – 4/10
The first half was his best in a good while but the second half was more like his recent form. Somehow managed to play 90 minutes.
Kobbie Mainoo – 7.5/10
A poor first half followed by a great second half, including a breathtaking goal to give United the lead. Deserved to be a winning goal.
Bruno Fernandes – 5.5/10
A really, really poor performance barring the goal, which was absolutely brilliantly taken.
Alejandro Garnacho – 7/10
He comes off and United concede. Once again. So important.
Rasmus Højlund – 3.5/10
Poor hold-up play and not really involved much.
Marcus Rashford – 6.5/10
A decent overall performance until he was forced off.
