Player Ratings: Manchester United vs Fulham (Premier League)
Manchester United won 1-0 against Fulham in their opening Premier League clash of the 2024/25 campaign.
The Reds had a solid game of football, but struggled to take their chances. Bruno Fernandes had the two best opportunities of the first half but was denied by Bernd Leno on both occasions.
Erik ten Hag’s side were impressive in the press and created multiple openings, but it is a similar story of not being able to take their chances up until Joshua Zirkzee entered the game.
The Dutch striker scored a brilliant goal in the late stages of the game to secure the win for his new club.
The United player ratings so far can be read below.

A decent display but a couple of sloppy moments.
Casemiro – 7.5/10
A mixed first half but grew into the game and was one of United’s better players. Created a couple of big chances.

One of United’s better players. Some really good work deeper and linking the play together.

Some good pressing and simple play but not involved enough.
