Manchester United’s poor start to the season just keeps getting worse as Erik ten Hag’s club fell to their sixth defeat in 10 games this campaign.
Manchester United‘s start to the season has been the worst start the fans have seen in over 30 years. They currently sit 10th in the Premier League table and bottom of their Champions League group.
Four losses in seven in the league and two losses in two in Europe is no short of abysmal, and their erratic and tragic nature was on display once again as the side lost 3-2 at Old Trafford in Galatasaray.

Despite a brace from Rasmus Højlund and some fantastic football in the first half, the side completely collapsed in the second half due to a Casemiro red card, an Andrè Onana mistake, and an all-around lacklustre game saw the side lose, again.
The day could not have gone worse for ex-United midfielder Paul Scholes, who made a big claim ahead of kick-off that completely backfired.
“He’s not a very good footballer,” Scholes told TNT Sports about striker Mauro Icardi ahead of kick-off.
And guess who scored the winning goal for Galatasaray… Mauro Icardi.
“Icardi up top, we have different players in our team who can do things,” Wilfried Zaha said after the game, and he isn’t wrong. Even though Icardi missed a penalty, his deft finish made sure United sank to rock bottom, and who knows how Ten Hag can pull the club out of this mess.
