Manchester United will look to clinch a spot in the semi-finals of the FA Cup as they host Fulham at Old Trafford on Sunday.

After successfully knocking out Real Betis in the Europa League, Erik ten Hag’s set to continue their excellent run in the FA Cup this season against The Cottagers.

The London-based side has been one of the toughest to beat in the league this season, with United only narrowly defeating them through an Alejandro Garnacho last-minute winner.

Unfortunately, the Argentine will miss tomorrow’s game through injury. With that in mind, here are the two players to watch from either team:

Manchester United: Marcel Sabitzer

Due to the red card he received in the game against Southampton, Casemiro will be suspended for tomorrow’s game. Positionally speaking, Scott McTominay would have been his replacement.

However, Ten Hag confirmed that the Scotsman is one of the injury concerns for tomorrow’s tie, leaving Sabitzer as the only option to fill the role.

Ever since arriving on loan in January, the Austrian midfielder has shown his impressive range of passing and composure on the ball. In Casemiro’s absence, Sabitzer will have to show his more defensive side of the game.

This is certainly something he can do, having made 3.34 tackles per 90 (95th percentile) and 1.60 clearances per 90 (82nd percentile) according to the data by FBREF.

Fulham: Manor Solomon

Solomon was signed by Fulham on a free season-long deal last summer. After having just played one league game, he was kept out by a horrible knee injury that required surgery.

After making his return in January, the 23-year-old winger started to show his brilliance for Marco Silva’s team, showing his knack for scoring important goals. Solomon has scored 4 goals in his last 5 games for Fulham, making him the one to watch for Sunday’s game.

As a left winger, he developed a signature move of cutting inside and firing away a shot on goal. Most defenders know that he’s about to do it, but stopping it is easier said and done.

Throughout the season, Ten Hag has rotated Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the right-back position. Whoever gets the nod tomorrow will have to put extra work into stopping Salomon so that United will have better chances of winning the game.
