Moise Kean makes final Manchester United transfer decision based on two key factors

Fiorentina striker Moise Kean has made his final decision on a potential transfer to Manchester United based on two key factors after a successful spell in Italy.

Manchester United are continuing their search for a striker this summer, and Moise Kean has emerged as one of the names linked with a potential move to Old Trafford.

It seems like the Reds are favouring a move for Sporting star Viktor Gyökeres, who is reportedly very keen on the move, but Kean is among those also being considered.

The Reds have already landed Matheus Cunha and are also set to sign Bryan Mbeumo which will take their spending to around £120 million.

Kean has Premier League experience from his time at Everton. The Italian forward is currently at Fiorentina, with a reported £42 million release clause active this summer.

Kean makes United transfer decision

Despite his previous difficulties in England, Kean has appeared to turn a corner in his career and just scored 24 goals in all competitions for Fiorentina last term.

But it has been revealed that the 25-year-old attacker has decided against a move to Old Trafford this summer even if they came in for him.

According to a report from Tuttomercatoweb, even though the Reds have consistently showing interest in him, Kean is concerned about the move for two reasons.

One of those is the lack of European competition next season at Old Trafford, while his current side will be competing in the Europa Conference League next term.

More importantly, however, Kean feels like he would not be guaranteed regular game-time under Amorim and that is something he needs going forward in his career.

Gyökeres remains United’s preferred striker target

There won’t be huge complaints from United fans that Kean will not be coming to the club, especially if he does not believe he can get regular game-time upfront.

United are in desperate need of a centre-forward but not one who will crack under the pressure like those who have played there recently.

Gyökeres remains the most likely target, and is someone who would be confident entering the building, but the Reds will need to sell players in order to bring him in.

There are a host of players who are likely to be leaving the club in the next weeks, with Alejandro Garnacho and Antony among those who can generate some much-needed cash for Amorim’s transfer kitty.
