Marcus Rashford has sent Manchester United teammate Rasmus Højlund a message following further reports linking the winger to Paris Saint-Germain.

Rashford, 26, has formed a new partnership with Højlund, who joined the Old Trafford club last summer. The winger has assisted United’s new striker twice so far.

The pair, alongside Alejandro Garnacho on the right wing, have helped turn the form around in Erik ten Hag’s side. They are unbeaten in 2024 and have scored 19 goals in their last seven games.

Following the latest victory against Luton Town, where Højlund bagged a brace to become the youngest-ever Premier League player to score in six consecutive league fixtures.

Afterwards, the forward wrote on Instagram: “Big win away from home. One step closer to Where we need to be!” Rashford sent a response to Hojlund’s post, writing: “Keep going bro.”

However, recent news has suggested that Rashford will be the subject of a major transfer story in the upcoming summer window.

With Kylian Mbappe set to leave PSG following the conclusion of this season and finally join Real Madrid, the French champions are planning to secure a replacement for the World Cup winner.

Rashford is said to be at the top of that list, and a new report has stated that the Qatari-owned club have within the region of £200 million to fill the hole that Mbappe will leave. Rashford is on a shortlist of “world-class” talent.

The England international has had a difficult season in terms of goalscoring after his 30-goal campaign last term. He has netted five times so far this campaign.

PSG sporting director Luis Campos is a long-term admirer of the 26-year-old. He held talks with Rashford two years ago about the possibility of a move to the French capital before he signed an extension at Old Trafford.
