Marcus Rashford “can’t think on his own” and suffers from ‘same problem’ as Ronaldinho
Former Manchester United defender Paul Parker believes Marcus Rashford needs to re-evaluate the people he surrounds himself with – comparing the Englishman to Ronaldinho and Neymar Jr.
In a scathing interview with MyBettingSites, Parker heavily criticised Rashford after he missed Manchester United training due to illness, the morning after he was spotted on a night out in Belfast.
Parker said: “He is one of those persons who can’t think on his own, so he has to be dictated and he has been dictated in a wrong direction, really.

“He has a huge status, and he should be near the top of the tree right now, but he has never been managed properly.”
Rashford’s agent is his older brother Dwaine Maynard, a mistake, according to Parker, who blames the family of the -26-year-old for his recent actions.
He said: “I think he has to look at the people he has around him. Have they helped him? Not really.
“He is surrounded by the wrong people. He is working with his family, and they are not good at helping him.”
Parker suggested that to fix his supposed attitude problems, he must remove his family from management positions, drawing comparisons with Brazilian superstars Ronaldinho and Neymar Jr.
The 59-year-old ex-defender said: “Look at Ronaldinho and Neymar, who were managed by their family. It didn’t turn out that well in the end, and Rashford doesn’t have the level they did, so he needs better advice more than anyone.”
