Manchester United have reportedly set a transfer demand for Jadon Sancho as they look to ship him out of Old Trafford this summer.

At the beginning of January, Manchester United confirmed that Jadon Sancho had left to join Borussia Dortmund on loan for the remainder of the 2023/24 campaign.

It was a move that surprised no one after Erik ten Hag froze the winger out of his first-team squad in January due to a public disagreement surrounding poor performances.

Sancho had claimed that Ten Hag was scapegoating him after the Dutch manager said he had been left out of a squad to face Arsenal due to poor training performances.

And now, according to sources from Football Insider, Manchester United have set their asking price for the Englishman as they look to raise funds for the summer.

INEOS are Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who are now in charge of all football operations, are reportedly demanding between £40-50 million for the player, although it is further stated that Dortmund have had a realisation.

It is said that the German club have realised that they will most likely not be able to retain the winger permanently due to said fee and also the wages that United currently have him on – it is believed that Sancho is currently earning at least £250,000 a week.

Speaking to Sky Sport Germany, Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl recently explained that it would be “very, very difficult” to negotiate a Sancho’s return to the club on a permanent basis.
