Manchester United outcast has ‘agreement in place’ for his next club following manager statement

A Manchester United outcast is said to have an agreement in place for his next club, with the side’s manager making a statement on the player.

During the summer transfer window, Manchester United spent the majority of their efforts focusing on reinforcing what was previously a struggling front line.

The Reds brought in a trio of attacking talents to deal with their goal-scoring woes from the previous campaign, in Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Šeško.

It wasn’t until deadline day that United opted to acquire a defensive signing, with Senne Lammens eventually being brought in to replace Andre Onana, who failed to impress.

Once Lammens has entered the frame at Old Trafford, he was an instant fan favourite, immediately displacing Altay Bayindir, who is now rumoured with a summer exit.

Bayindir linked with Besiktas move

Bayindir lost his spot to the young Belgian shot-stopper, who has managed to keep the Turkish international out of the side ever since.

Reports from Sport Witness are now claiming that the 27-year-old could be set for a move back to Turkey, with Besiktas having ‘reached an agreement’ with the goalkeeper.

The Black Eagles tracked the United outcast during the January transfer window, although no deal was finalised, leaving Bayindir stuck on the Old Trafford bench.

It is stated that United would allow Bayindir to leave on a discounted fee, with a price of just over £3million being reported.

Besiktas manager speaks on transfer

Following the reports linking Bayindir with a move back to his home nation, Besiktas manager Sergen Yalcin has tried to calm his club’s links with the United star.

During a press conference, Yalcin was asked whether he would like to bring in the United keeper, to which he said it wasn’t something that he had thought about.

The Besiktas coach said, “This is not the time to answer these questions. We play cups, leagues. We will talk about these issues when the transfer window comes.”

With it being clear that Lammens has the spot in the United starting XI fairly nailed, a move back to Turkey may be best for both parties, especially if United are to look at bringing in another shot stopper in the summer.
