Manchester United have received further interest in Scott McTominay ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline day.

Manchester United‘s deadline day is setting up to be one with many deals yet to conclude, with Erik ten Hag wanting to sign both a midfielder and a left-back before Friday’s 11 pm BST deadline.

However, this is not all that may happen – there is a chance that United will also sell Scott McTominay, as interest in the player remains.

Manchester United are said to have been contacted by Fulham for the midfielder, with the London clubs interested in his availability.

This is according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth, who has explained that Fulham are looking at options if Brazilian Joao Palhinha leaves – he has been linked with United’s Champions League opponents Bayern Munich.

However, it is further explained that it would take a “substantial offer” for Manchester United to even consider selling the player; but it is important to note that the transfer cannot be ruled out, as McTominay has been for sale at the right price all summer.

United turned down a £30 million bid for the player earlier on this window from West Ham United, who were looking to replace the outgoing Declan Rice – the club failed to sign either of McTominay or Harry Maguire.

United could feasibly accept a bid of around £40 million, as this would certainly boost their chances of securing Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat before the deadline slams shut.
