Manchester United man now being targeted by Galatasaray as three-way transfer battle commences

One Manchester United player is reportedly being targeted by Galatasaray as a three-way transfer battle for his signature this summer takes shape.

Manchester United are gearing up for a lively and long-awaited summer reset as Rúben Amorim gets to work on reshaping his squad at Old Trafford.

With Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS fully behind the rebuild, the club are planning a major clear-out — at least ten senior players are expected to move on as United look to freshen things up and raise funds for new signings.

Christian EriksenVictor Lindelöf, and Jonny Evans will depart when their contracts expire, while the likes of Marcus RashfordAntony, and Jadon Sancho are set to be sold in deals that could bring in over £100 million.

Plenty of questions still hang over players like CasemiroKobbie Mainoo, and Alejandro Garnacho, but one thing’s for sure — it’s going to be a busy, exciting summer at Old Trafford.

Sancho now a fresh target for Galatasaray

Amid the need to offload Sancho this summer, his complicated situation while on loan at Chelsea has left many European clubs earmarking the winger as a potential bargain signing.

Although Chelsea have an obligation to sign him for around £25 million, they can pay United a £5 million fee to avoid retaining the 25-year-old permanently – an option said to be on the table for the London club this summer.

With this holding the attention of multiple European clubs, a report from the Turkish journalist Arda Özkurt has revealed that Turkish giants Galatasaray are keeping a close eye on Sancho’s situation.

“Galatasaray are investigating Jadon Sancho’s situation,” Özkurt explained, as relayed by Haber Sarikirmizi.

According to reports from England, Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt are considering a bid for the player as they look for a headline signing to replace Florian Wirtz at the club amid his potential departure to Bayern Munich this summer.

With Xabi Alonso also leaving his managerial post to take up a place at Real Madrid, Frankfurt are embarking on an ambitious rebuild, with Sancho’s potential signing an option.

However, they and Galatasaray would also be competing with Borussia Dortmund, who are said to be open to the idea of bringing Snacho back to their club for the third time in his career.
