Manchester United injury news vs Leicester City as Leny Yoro makes admission fans will love
Ruud van Nistelrooy has issued six injury updates as Manchester United look to defeat Leicester City in their return to Premier League action on Sunday afternoon.
Ruud van Nistelrooy is preparing to manage Manchester United for the fourth time as interim boss when they take on Leicester City in the Premier League.
In the two weeks since Erik ten Hag was sacked, United have started to find their footing. They began with a 5-2 Carabao Cup victory over Leicester, followed by a 1-1 league draw against Chelsea, and a solid 2-0 win over PAOK in the Europa League.

With Rúben Amorim set to take over on Monday, 11 November, Van Nistelrooy will be hoping to conclude his temporary spell with a league win against Leicester on Sunday.
Currently, United sit 13th in the table, with a goal difference of -3, having scored nine and conceded 12 in their first ten league games.
Man United injury news
Speaking on Friday afternoon, Van Nistelrooy provided the latest on multiple players, explaining that although he’s happy to have Chrsitian Eriksen and Mason Mount back, there are doubts surrounding Amad Diallo, and that Kobbie Mainoo is not fit to play.
“Amad was assessed,” declared van Nistelrooy. “We’re still working on him, to get him ready for Sunday. Hopefully, it will work.
“Kobbie is also progressing in his injury, he’s making the right steps, but is not yet with the team, though. That needs a bit more time.
“I have to say, yesterday, we had a lot of benefit from Christian playing 30 minutes, obviously [Manuel] Ugarte and Mason making his first minutes again.”
Further, he explained that Leny Yoro and Luke Shaw have returned to training, although Harry Maguire remains sidelined with an issue he picked up just before the international break last month.
“That benefited us as well. So I’m glad that they’re back and also, for a little bit longer [into the] future, good that Luke [Shaw] and Leny [Yoro] are on the pitch.”
Maguire has confirmed in a recent Instagram post that both he and Toby Collyer are expected to return to training soon.
Leny Yoro’s admission
Speaking recently, 18-year-old French centre-back Yoro admitted that he is very hungry to get back onto the pitch and make his debut for United after his injury in pre-season – something fans will love.
“Honestly, all the times I come to watch the games I just want to be on the pitch,” he told club media. “I know it’s closer now, so I stay ready. I just want to be on the pitch with the guys to fight for the club.”
He also explained that he is really enjoying life in Manchester, getting used to his new surroundings after moving from Lille at such a young age.
“It’s perfect. I got my home, my car, everything, so yeah I’m good. It’s a bit bigger than Lille but the weather is the same so it doesn’t change too much. My family is still in Lille. My girlfriend came with me, and my cousin.”
