Manchester United injury news vs West Ham as two players set to return
Two players are expected to return to the Manchester United squad as Erik ten Hag prepares to face West Ham in the Premier League.
Manchester United are gearing up for a Premier League clash with West Ham this weekend.
Despite a recent 2-1 victory over Brentford, United still find themselves in 12th place, adding to the pressure on Erik ten Hag to boost their standing.

Coming off a 1-1 draw with Fenerbahce in the Europa League, United face a short two-day recovery before Sunday’s afternoon kickoff at London Stadium.
This game will be Ten Hag’s ninth league appearance of the season, with United’s current record at three wins, three losses, and two draws.
Injury news
United have several absentees for the Sunday afternoon fixture, with multiple defenders remaining sidelined ahead of the clash.
Leny Yoro and Tyrell Malacia remain out of action following long-term injury issues, although both players are now back to training on grass. It is expected that the pair will be able to return to matchday squads in November.
Beyond these two, Luke Shaw is also expected to return soon, but not in time for Sunday afternoon. Shaw was spotted undergoing individual training sessions on the Carrington grass on Wednesday.
Harry Maguire also remains out, having suffered a calf injury during the first half of the club’s 0-0 draw with Aston Villa earlier this month.
In midfield, Kobbie Mainoo will remain unavailable until mid-November due to a hamstring problem. At the same time, Mason Mount’s return to action was delayed, although Ten Hag confirmed the 25-year-old would be back in action “soon.”
Youngsters Dan Gore and Toby Collyer are also out with injuries, although the nature and severity of their issues have not been publicised.
Brazillian winger Antony had to be substituted just 10 minutes after entering the fray against Fenerbahce. United have since confirmed that he will miss the Premier League tie with a sprained ankle.
Alejandro Garnacho has been playing with a knee brace for the last few games and missed Argentina’s last internationals but has featured in every fixture for United so far this season.
Two returns
In more positive news, United will have two players return to the squad that enters the London Stadium on Sunday.
United’s squad flew straight from Istanbul to London, and Bruno Fernandes will return to the team after he served a one-match ban following his red card against FC Porto earlier this month.
Ten Hag also explained on Thursday evening that he hopes centre-back Jonny Evans will rejoin the team after the former Northern Ireland international missed training and the Fenerbahce trip with an unspecified issue, and footage showed him training with the team in London on Saturday afternoon.
