Manchester United have received an important transfer update on one £30 million star, and a deal could end up happening this summer.

The Reds have signed Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee so far this summer, but INEOS are keen to make further improvements to Erik ten Hag’s squad.

Matthijs de Ligt and Manuel Ugarte are two players heavily linked with moves to Old Trafford this summer.

Yet, the Reds need to make further sales in order to complete more signings this summer and several players could be heading for the exit door.

Scott McTominay is up for sale this summer, but United are not willing to sell the Scotsman in a cut-price deal.

They rejected a reported £17 million bid from Fulham earlier this summer and told clubs that they were sticking a £30 million valuation on the 27-year-old.

New reports from talkSPORT have claimed that The Cottagers remain keen on signing the United midfielder.

It was explained that the Premier League outfit are now ready to test the Reds with a bid for the player worth £30 million

That matches United’s previously reported valuation, which could mean that a deal progresses in the coming days.

McTominay has made 252 appearances for United since coming through the Academy and scored a career-best 10 goals last term.
