Manchester United have FA Cup fifth-round opponents confirmed
It has been confirmed that should Manchester United defeat Newport County in the fourth round of the FA Cup, they will face either Bristol City or Nottingham Forest in round five of the competition.
Manchester United are taking on Newport County in the FA Cup fourth round as Erik ten Hag looks to progress in the competition that the club reached the final in last season.
In the third round, United’s first of this season’s competition, goals from Diogo Dalot and Bruno Fernandes saw the club defeat Wigan Athletic 2-0.

The draw for the fifth round, which took place during half-time of Liverpool’s fixture against Norwich, has confirmed that should United defeat Newport, they will face either Bristol City or Nottingham Forest in round five.
As United were drawn first/second out of the pot, they will face Bristol City/Nottingham Forest at either Ashton Gate Stadium or the City ground, depending on who wins that fixture.
The two sides played a 0-0 stalemate on Friday evening, and their FA Cup replay will be played on Wednesday, 7 February.
While specific dates are yet to be finalised, the fifth round is set to be scheduled during the week commencing Monday, February 26.

Bournemouth vs Leicester City
