Sunderland fans have made a new chant for Manchester United loanee Amad Diallo, with the winger shining for the Championship side.

Amad has impressed with The Black Cats so far this season, scoring seven goals and assisting twice.

Despite only being on loan at the Stadium of Light, Amad’s ability on the pitch made him a fan favourite almost instantly.

The lyrics are as follows:

“He’s from United,

“He’s from the Ivory Coast,

“He’s better than Drogba and both the Toure bros,

“He’s f*cking magic and don’t you f*cking know,

“His name is Amad, Amad Diallo,

“Du Du Du Du Du.”

Sunderland manager Tony Mowbray has been full of praise for the 20-year-old since he joined their club on loan.

“He is a special footballer, I think,” Mowbray proclaimed when asked about the loanee recently. “For us, he is an amazing player. We’re delighted he’s with us. Hopefully, he can continue for the rest of the season and do exceptionally well.

“Hopefully, he can get an opportunity at United at some stage,” added Mowbray. “I liken him very much talent-wise to Harvey Elliot, the ball stuck to his feet, you know he’ll pick the right pass all the time, he knows when to keep it and when to release it.

“His feet are so fast, and Harvey is doing okay at Liverpool, so hopefully Amad will break through that glass ceiling at United. But it’s never easy for young players.”

Sunderland are currently ninth in the Championship table and just two points away from the play-off positions.

In January, Ten Hag when questioned on whether United would recall the youngster from the loan.

“We consider everything, as long as it’s strengthening the squad,” he explained. “But at the same time, I have a little bit of a reservation about that because I don’t want to stop the process [of Amad’s development]. He’s [making] really good progress there, so I’m happy with that.”
