Manchester United confirmed squad vs Brighton as Antony decision made
Manchester United’s squad has arrived at Old Trafford ahead of their Premier League clash against Brighton.
Ruben Amorim’s side have won their last two games against Arsenal and Southampton but the performances in those games differed.
At the Emirates Stadium, the Reds worked tirelessly and no one could criticise their efforts after playing half of the game with 10 men.
However, the display against the Saints was not entirely impressive and it took late heroics from Amad – who netted a 12 minute hat-trick – to secure the win.
Amorim and the team will know that they must produce a much better performance against Brighton, who will punish them if they play poorly on Sunday afternoon.
The Seagulls travel to Old Trafford for the Premier League clash and it is a game which United really need to win in order to claw their way closer to those above them in the table.
Antony decision made amid loan interest
Diogo Dalot was among the first United players to arrive at Old Trafford before the game after his return from suspension, with Rasmus Højlund and Manuel Ugarte alongside him.
The Uruguayan midfielder had to come off early against the Saints on Thursday but he is back in contention to start against Brighton.
Antony has also arrived at the stadium and included in the squad despite increasing rumours surrounding a potential January exit.
It has been reported that the 24-year-old is one step away from moving to Real Betis on loan but he will still be involved for United this weekend.
Tom Heaton was not spotted arriving with the squad and it is expected the 21-year-old goalkeeper Hubert Graczyk acts as the third goalkeeper in the warm-up drills on the pitch.
