Manchester United confirm Rúben Amorim XI vs Wolves as Mason Mount decision made (Premier League)

Manchester United have confirmed the starting XI Rúben Amorim has selected to face Wolverhampton Wanderers on Thursday evening at Old Trafford.

Manchester United finish 2025 by hosting Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford.

It has been a difficult year for Rúben Amorim, but a recent 1-0 Premier League win over Newcastle, secured with a clean sheet, has offered a glimmer of optimism that the team is moving in the right direction.

United have already beaten Wolves this season, claiming a 4-1 victory at Molineux earlier this month. This time, however, the visitors will be missing several players due to injuries and Africa Cup of Nations commitments.

With the New Year approaching, Amorim will be hoping his side can produce a solid display and take all three points to strengthen their push for a Champions League spot.

The XIs have been confirmed below, with Amorim naming Patrick Chinazaekpere Dorgu as part of the front line for the first time, while Mason Mount misses out due to injury.
