Erik ten Hag has made three changes to the Manchester United that defeated Luton before the international break, including a start for Kobbie Mainoo.
Manchester United return to domestic football to face Everton at Goodison Park in what promises to be a feisty fixture with an intense atmosphere after the Toffies were deducted 10 points by the Premier League for breaking financial sustainability rules.
“They will bring that but it is not about them, but I do respect that they will be highly motivated, but we have to match them,” Ten Hag said of Everton to club media ahead of the game.
“The minimum is we have to match them, to beat them on those standards. Only then will we have a very good chance to win this game.”
The line-ups for the fixture have been confirmed.
Starting XI: Onana, Dalot, Lindelöf, Maguire, Shaw, Mainoo, McTominay, Fernandes, Rashford, Martial, Garnacho.
Subs: Bayındır, Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Reguilón, Van de Beek, Amrabat, Hugill, Mejbri, Pellistri.
Starting XI: Pickford, Young, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko, Harrison, Garner, Gueye, McNeil, Doucoure, Calvert-Lewin.
Subs: Virginia, Patterson, Coleman, Keane, Godfrey, Hunt, Danjuma, Dobbin, Chermiti.
