Manchester United confirm Erik ten Hag XI to face Newcastle United (Carabao Cup)

Manchester United continue their Carabao Cup defence as they welcome Newcastle United to Old Trafford on Wednesday evening.

Erik ten Hag‘s Manchester United team are looking to recover from their 3-0 loss to Manchester City as they welcome Newcastle United to Old Trafford.

Newcastle, of course, were United’s opponents in the final of last season’s Carabao Cup, where Marcus Rashford and Casemiro secured Ten Hag’s first trophy for the club in February.

“While this has not been the start to the season that we had all hoped for, I am certain that we have the talent and attitude as a collective to move in the right direction,” Ten Hag said ahead of the fixture.

“I believe that it is only a matter of time before we are showing our true selves. It will come, I am certain.”
