Manchester United add another injury to Erik ten Hag’s 11-man absentee list
Manchester United have confirmed that Aaron Wan-Bissaka will miss “several weeks” through injury after an injury against Brighton.
Erik ten Hag‘s absentee squad list has grown to 11 players as Aaron Wan-Bissaka becomes the latest player to be unavailable to face Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Wan-Bissaka is said to have picked up an injury in the final minutes of Manchester United‘s 3-1 loss against Brighton, where he came on as a late substitute, and will be unavailable for a number of weeks as a result.

It has been reported that he could miss up to two months with a hamstring injury – although the club say that a further assessment will be needed to determine how long Wan-Bissaka will be out for, however, initial indications suggest it will be several weeks.
The club already have two other full-back injuries, with Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw continuing on the sidelines.
Jadon Sancho and Antony remain unavailable due to off-field troubles, with Kobbie Mainoo and Amad both continuing their rehabilitation due to injuries that occurred in pre-season.
Ten Hag issued an update on Raphaël Varane and Mason Mount recently, claiming that they are both close to returning – but Bayern Munich comes too soon for them.
“I think, when we go to Burnley in the week after, I think players will return, yes,” he confirmed on Saturday evening.
Tom Heaton continues to be out with a calf injury, while the nature of new signing Sofyan Amrabat’s back problem is unknown.
