Six Manchester United stars could leave Old Trafford this week as Erik ten Hag’s club continue to push for further buys in the transfer market.

As the transfer window approaches its final two weeks, the club are on the lookout for a new midfielder and possibly a left-back, with Manuel Ugarte showing strong interest in a switch from Paris Saint-Germain.

According to The Telegraph, United have now agreed a fee of just over £5 million for the transfer of winger Facundo Pellistri to Greek side Panathinaikos.

Beyond this, The Athletic have also explained that four players may still leave the club before the end of the transfer window next week.

The first is Christian Eriksen. United are reportedly looking to sell Eriksen for a fee of around £5 million. however, it is also explained that, although there have been tentative links, a move back to Ajax is currently not on the cards.

Secondly, Jadon Sancho’s situation is still “live”. Sancho is said to be looking to play regular football somewhere, and United are still open to letting him leave for around £40 million, but finding a club that would pay his wages is an issue.

Some people at United reportedly believe Chelsea may make an approach for Sancho before the window slams shut next Thursday.

Thirdly, there remains a possibility that Scott McTominay will leave United in the coming days. According to the report, Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna has travelled to England for face-to-face talks for McTominay, and “progress is being made” on the deal.

Although personal terms have not been agreed, the report explains that McTominay’s situation may be left late into the window.

Finally, the report also notes that both Hannibal Mejbri and Victor Lindelöf are fringe players who may depart the club before the end of August.
