Manchester United to enter “official negotiations” for third transfer as loan move confirmed
Manchester United are set to enter “official negotiations” for Bayern Munich’s Noussair Mazraoui with Erik ten Hag a big factor in the player’s decision.
This is according to Santi Aouna, who claims that Manchester United are drawing closer to signing the 26-year-old Bayern Munich right-back following the collapse of his move to West Ham.
Noussair Mazraoui is said to be keen to work with Erik ten Hag again following the pair’s time together at Ajax. He would become the third player to sign this summer, following Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro.

The report states that the Premier League outfit will “enter into official negotiations” in the coming days, presumably meaning with Bayern Munich, but this should not take too long as a transfer price has already been set out.
Bayern accepted a bid of around £13 million plus a further £3.4 million in add-ons from West Ham, so in theory, United would just need to match that bid in order for the deal to be wrapped up as soon as possible.
However, multiple reports have detailed that the final transfer will also hinge on Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s future. Wan-Bissaka is thought to favour a move to Inter Milan this summer, having rejected a move to West Ham.
This news comes after Manchester United confirmed that Joe Hugill had joined League One outfit Wigan Athletic for the forthcoming campaign.
Hugill will wear the No. 9 shirt while on loan at the Latics, indicating that boss Shaun Maloney holds the 20-year-old in high regard and has significant plans for him this season.
“I am delighted to be here,” Hugill told Wigan’s official website. “It’s been a long time coming, but I am over the moon to get it done, and I can’t wait to get started.
“To get the No. 9 shirt is a massive honour, and I will wear it with pride. Hopefully, I can show what I can do with it.”
