Manchester United transfer blow: target now “attracted” to different club with price revealed
Manchester United have suffered a new transfer blow as one of their targets is “attracted” to a move elsewhere this summer.
Manchester United plan to strengthen their defence this summer by signing multiple centre-backs this summer after a difficult season under Erik ten Hag, which left them eighth in the Premier League and out of the Champions League by Christmas.
The team conceded over eighty goals in all competitions, often changing their defensive lineup due to injuries, resulting in more than 30 different combinations across 52 matches in the 2023/24 season.

INEOS is evaluating potential signings for the 2024 summer transfer window, with Leny Yoro emerging as a key target for the club.
It was claimed last week that United are incredibly keen on Yoro and view him as a “unique” transfer, with Real Madrid, Liverpool, and Paris St. Germain also keen on the Lille player’s signature.
According to Fabrice Hawkins, Madrid are now in “pole position” to sign the French defender this summer despite interest from multiple clubs around Europe.
The journalist explains that Yoro is “attracted” to the La Liga side over others and has also met with PSG director Luis Campos and manager Luis Enrique.
The conversation was said to be positive, and the Parisian club have committed to showing themselves as the club that will help Yoro further develop his talents and put him on a pathway to the French national team.
Hawkins also explains that a deal can be done for around £43 million. Although this may be in United’s price range, his seeming interest in signing elsewhere dampens any chances of an arrival at Old Trafford this summer.
