According to the latest reports, Manchester United have set Juventus three demands as a deal for Jadon Sancho becomes possible in the final days of the summer window.

After spending £139 million on signings like Joshua ZirkzeeLeny YoroMatthijs de Ligt, and Noussair Mazraoui, Manchester United are balancing its books by selling players.

They have already earned £60 million from the sales of Aaron Wan-BissakaMason GreenwoodWilly Kambwala, among others, and others are expected to depart.

As the close of the transfer window nears next Thursday, the club is scanning the market for more sales opportunities. They are also targeting at least one midfielder before the 30 August deadline, with Paris St. Germain’s Manuel Ugarte emerging as a primary target.

In order to fund this, United may let Jadon Sancho leave in the final days of the window.

According to The Athletic, Juventus have opened communications with the Old Trafford outfit for the winger, but finding a financial agreement that satisfies all parties is expected to be difficult, although a deal is possible.

Juventus are currently viewed as the most likely destination for Jadon Sancho if he leaves Manchester United this summer.

The Italian club has shown interest in the winger for over a year and are expected to propose a loan deal with a salary contribution. They might wait until the final days of the transfer window to push for an agreement.

United, however, prefer a permanent transfer and will only consider a loan if it offers substantial financial benefits and aligns with their profitability and sustainability goals. This ensures that any funds from the deal can be reinvested into new signings, with ongoing discussions about midfielder Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain.

For United to agree to a loan, they would require three demands: full coverage of Sancho’s salary, a loan fee, and an obligation to purchase. The terms of such deals often include specific conditions for triggering the purchase obligation, such as hitting a pre-determined number of minutes or appearances Sancho makes across a season.

Sancho’s prospects of joining Juventus have improved with Thiago Motta now in charge. Juventus’ sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli, is a known admirer of Sancho.

Sancho was left out of United’s recent squad to face Fulham, with manger Erik ten Hag stating that he had an ear infection. However, according to the report, Snacho reacted to the news by reaffirming his desire to leave the club.

Ahead of the Fulham tie, he mixed as usual with his teammates but was not spotted watching the game in the director’s box alongside injured duo Ramsus Højlund and Leny Yoro, as well as third-choice goalkeeper Tom Heaton.
