“No negotiations…” Fabrizio Romano explains Manchester United star is not yet close to leaving
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Jadon Sancho is not currently close to leaving Manchester United despite recent links to Paris St. Germain.
Jadon Sancho, 24, was away from Manchester United for the second half of last season following a disagreement with manager Erik ten Hag, who had omitted him from the squad for a match against Arsenal.
Sancho has not played for United since the end of August last year, with Ten Hag attributing his exclusion to poor performances in training. Sancho countered this with a public statement denying the claim, which led to his banishment from the squad and a six-month loan to Borussia Dortmund.

Although many expected him to be sold this summer, Sancho recently had a lengthy conversation with Ten Hag, where they resolved their differences. Now, Sancho has rejoined the United team and is actively participating in pre-season training.
However, this does not mean that he is no longer on the transfer list. United are said to value Sancho at around £40 million, and should a suitable bid arrive, he would be allowed to leave.
There have been strong links between Sancho and Ligue 1 side Paris St. Germain in the past few days, but transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has explained that claims that a deal may be struck soon are premature.
“I can confirm that PSG have included the name of Jadon Sancho as one of the players they have on their shortlist for the winger position,” Romano stated on his YouTube channel.
“But at the moment, we are still at the early stages of the story, and it really depends on Manchester United, on what Man United want to do with Jadon Sancho. At the moment, we are not at advancing stages or close to being done.
“PSG are looking for a player in that position, but at the moment, not actively negotiating yet because it depends on what Manchester United want to do with Jadon Sancho.
“So interest, yes, waiting to see if it will develop or not. But for sure, he is a player appreciated by Paris Saint-Germain, and they have had some contacts with the agents of the player.”
Sancho featured for United for the first time in 11 months as they defeated Rangers 2-0 in a pre-season friendly. He is expected to be part of the squad that will fly to the USA to face Arsenal, Real Betis, and Liverpool while across the Atlantic.
