Juventus switch to Jadon Sancho as Manchester United stall Mason Greenwood talks
In an interesting development, Juventus have now reportedly switched their attention to Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho as talks for Mason Greenwood stall.
Manchester United are aiming to offload multiple high-profile players this summer as INEOS look to raise transfer funds and reduce the club’s current wage bill.
Those such as Mason Greenwood and Jadon Sancho will almost certainly leave Old Trafford this summer, with others such as Casemiro and Christian Eriksen likely to follow through the exit door.

Sancho and Greenwood’s sales are expected to raise at least £80 million this summer. Both players are valued at around £35-45 million each, and interest across the continent is rife.
Juventus have been most eagerly pursuing Greenwood, and reports from last week claimed the 22-year-old has already said yes to moving to Turin if the two clubs agree on a fee.
However, a new report from La Gazzetta dello Sport has explained that the deal is now stalling as United are refusing to lower their asking price of £43 million for the man who was on loan at Getafe.
With this in mind, Juventus are said to have, therefore, considered a different option but are sticking with United players and have now enquired about Sancho.
Juventus was a potential destination for Sancho back in January before he signed on loan with Borussia Dortmund, and it seems they have not dropped their interest in the winger United signed for £73 million in 2021.
The GDS report explains that a deal for his loan was “practically agreed” back in January, but Massimiliano Allegri blocked the transfer. However, while they want to sign Greenwood permanently, they have asked if the deal for Sancho can be a one-year loan deal.
It is likely that United would reject this as they want to make sure they receive a full, permanent fee for Sancho this summer. If Juventus want either winger, they must cough up the cash.
