Manchester United target “keen” to join after Joshua Zirkzee and Matthijs de Ligt

Since the squad returned to pre-season training, Manchester United have been increasingly active in the transfer window following a recruitment meeting held last Monday.
Since Erik ten Hag‘s squad arrived back at Carrington, Manchester United have continued to pursue their top targets this summer.
With Joshua Zirkzee, their latest addition, having signed his contract at the club, United is also seemingly closing in on a final deal with Bayern Munich for Matthijs de Ligt.

The latest reports have claimed that United are prepared to offer a £42 million package to Bayern for De Ligt, but the details still need to be finalised. How long the payments can be spread is also thought to be important for the club.
With a striker secured and a defender seemingly on the way, United will start to turn their attention towards the midfield, where reinforcements are very much needed.
The most significant links have been with Paris St. Germain and Uruguay midfielder Manuel Ugarte. Although some reports have claimed a bid has already been launched, these have since been labelled as “premature”.
However, a new update from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has provided the club with positive news – Urgarte is “keen” to join Manchester United this summer.
“Ugarte at the moment is probably the easiest name (of targets suggested) because Ugarte could be available in the summer transfer window,” Romano told GiveMeSport.
“For Paris Saint-Germain, he is not a crucial player. He didn’t have an easy second part of the season at PSG; Luis Enrique was not using him so much.
“So the idea of Manuel Ugarte is also to try a different experience. If he has the possibility to go to the Premier League, he’s keen on that possibility, he’s keen on Manchester United. Even without Champions League football, for Ugarte, it’s something that he would be happy to do.”
