Manchester United confirm Erik ten Hag XI vs Aston Villa as Harry Maguire starts

Erik ten Hag has chosen to start Harry Maguire as Manchester United face Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Manchester United are set to resume their Premier League campaign with an away match against Aston Villa, marking their seventh fixture of the season.

Erik ten Hag‘s team has had a challenging start, winning only three out of their ten matches thus far. In their most recent outing, they relinquished a 2-0 lead against FC Porto, with a last-minute header from Harry Maguire saving them from defeat and securing a 3-3 draw.

Currently, Manchester United sits 13th in the league standings, while Aston Villa is performing well under Unai Emery, positioned 5th and just two points behind league leaders Liverpool.

In their latest match, Aston Villa triumphed over Bayern Munich 1-0 in the Champions League, thanks to a brilliant goal from substitute Jhon Duran.
