Marcus Rashford has been told he must rediscover his best form in order for Manchester United to succeed under Erik ten Hag.

Marcus Rashford stands as Manchester United‘s most notable academy success story of the past decade. Since his debut in February 2016, Rashford has made 402 appearances and scored 131 goals for the club.

Although his form has fluctuated, Rashford is among the league’s best when at his peak, as demonstrated by his 30-goal campaign in the 2022/23 season.

However, he faced challenges last season, managing only eight goals in 43 appearances. As a result, there is now an expectation for Rashford to regain his top form.

Teddy Sheringham, the legendary club striker, has sent a message to Rashford, explaining that he feels Rashford must get back to his best.

“I think the issue with Marcus Rashford lies with Erik ten Hag getting the best out of him on a regular basis,” Sheringham told Poker Sites. “He’s obviously not in the England squad because his form hasn’t been good enough.

“We all know he can do it, but when you’re playing for a top club or national side, you need to produce every time you put the shirt on.

“At the moment, he’s not been performing well enough, and his body language looks completely different to how it did 12 months ago.

“He needs to get back to those levels and start dragging his team forward like he was doing last season. He’s still only 26 and has a lot of time to turn things round.”
