Manchester United confirm Erik ten Hag XI vs Southampton as Manuel Ugarte on the bench
Erik ten Hag has chosen to not start Manuel Ugarte as Manchester United travel to face Southampton in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Manchester United have had a challenging beginning to the season, achieving just one win in their first three Premier League games.
Their latest 3-0 defeat to Liverpool came after a close loss to Brighton. Although their win over Fulham was encouraging, Erik ten Hag’s squad still faces considerable work.

The international break has offered a timely opportunity for players to get back to full fitness.
This is especially important as United prepare for a hectic fixture list, with two matches per week once the season resumes. They will start this intense period with a Saturday match against Southampton.
