“Hell of a player…” Manchester United star labelled “sensational” talent after Southampton win
One of Manchester United’s young talents has been labelled as “sensational” following a 3-0 Premier League victory over Southampton.
After back-to-back losses against Brighton and Liverpool, Manchester United returned from the international break in thumping fashion, blowing Southampton away at St. Mary’s Stadium.
The tie started fast, and after 30 minutes, Diogo Dalot brought down Tyler Dibling in the area, but André Onana saved the resulting penalty, leading to a huge momentum change for Erik ten Hag‘s men.

Just minutes later, Matthijs de Ligt nodded in a lovely cross from Bruno Fernandes to open his account for the club, and before half-time, Marcus Rashford added a second with a low, curling effort, scoring his first goal of the season.
In the second half, United created more chances, and deep into stoppage time, they were rewarded with Alejandro Garnacho’s smashing finish into the roof of the next to make sure the club brought three points back to Old Trafford.
Rashford’s goal was assisted by Amad Diallo, who made his second goal contribution for the season. For the most part, the young Ivorian has been United’s most potent attacking threat and has earned praise from across the football world.
Speaking after the game, Former Chelsea player Jason Cundy explained that he was blown away by Amad’s display, labelling his performance as “sensational.” However, he also suggested that, at times, United were poor.
“You have three wide players right now. You have got Amad, you have got Rashford, you have got Garnacho,” Cundy told Talksport on Saturday evening.
“Amad, first half, he was sensational. Even though United struggled, he looked he is going to be a hell of a player by the way.
“I thought he was sensational. Even though United were poor, I thought he was the best player on the pitch.”
Amad has started three of the club’s four games this season and is nailing himself down a fantastic spot on the right-hand side. He and Garnacho are two very bright talents with big futures ahead of them.
