Manchester United have confirmed that Rúben Amorim is starting Harry Amass as they travel to face Newcastle in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Manchester United travel to St. James’ Park on Sunday afternoon as they resume their Premier League campaign against Newcastle United.
Currently 13th in the table, United are without a goal in their last two league matches but managed to score twice during a 2-2 draw with Lyon in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Rúben Amorim’s side had begun to gather momentum before the March international break, but that progress has been checked by a defeat to Nottingham Forest and back-to-back draws with Manchester City and Lyon.
They now face a tough challenge against a Newcastle team chasing a top-five finish and a place in next season’s Champions League. Eddie Howe’s side sit 5th and will be looking to strengthen their hold on that position.
The XIs have been confirmed below, with Amorim starting Harry Amass and Altay Bayındır for the first time in the Premier League, with Patrick Dorgu and André Onana rested.
