Rúben Amorim has chosen to start André Onana as Manchester United prepare to take on Leicester City in the Premier League on Sunday evening.

Manchester United resume their Premier League campaign with a trip to Leicester City, as Rúben Amorim looks to build on his side’s impressive midweek performance.

United were in fine form on Thursday night, securing a dominant 4-1 win over Real Sociedad to reach the Europa League quarter-finals, where they will take on Olympique Lyonnais next month.

With that tie still weeks away, United’s immediate focus shifts back to the league, where they are looking to climb from 14th place.

This fixture also sees a reunion with club legend Ruud van Nistelrooy, who had a brief spell as United’s interim manager before Amorim’s arrival in November. It will be the second time the two managers go head-to-head this season.

United have already defeated Leicester three times this campaign, winning in the FA Cup, Carabao Cup, and Premier League—all at Old Trafford. However, this time they face the challenge of getting a result at the King Power Stadium.

The XIs have been confirmed below, with Amorim starting André Onana despite reports that he may be dropped due to illness.
